Gerard Butlers's ‘London Has Fallen’ Seems Not As Success As Its Predecessor

Gerard Butler's newest movie ''London Has Fallen'' opened in theatres all across the US on Mar.4, 2016. Butler's another recent movie ''Gods of Egypt'' is loved by the fans.

The numbers mentioned that it has already collected $39.8 million in the box office. However, the critics did not give a good rating to this movie. Directed by Babak Najafi, this movie was initially premiered in Hollywood on Mar. 1. The promotion of this movie took a different turn when Freeman lent his voice to the GPS App Waze.

IMDb rated the movie at 6.4/10, however rotten tomatoes and metacritic's scores were not good. YouTube has the trailer uploaded. Vox did a comprehensive story which had the heading ''London Has Fallen is a step-by-step guide to how not to make an action movie.'' The original movie ''Olympus Has Fallen'' was a huge success; however it seems that its predecessor will fall flat in the box-office.

As per the Guardian, the movie is doing well in the UK. UK opening collection of £3.23m from 513 cinemas was a good sum. Gerard Butler's role as Mike Banning was appreciated by the fans. This presidential bodyguard's acting prowess coupled with Freeman's voice made it a popular choice in the UK movie goer's arena.

Butler, the Scottish actor too pulled the crowd in his home ground. This action packed drama which involved terrorist attacks is expected to pull more crowds in the coming weeks. Set in the backdrop of terrorist attacks, the contemporary world situation is depicted clearly in this movie. Movieinsider gave the plot in details.

Butler did many blockbuster films like ''Tale of the Mummy,'' ''Dracula 2000,'' ''P.S. I Love You,'' ''How to Train Your Dragon,'' ''Olympus Has Fallen,'' ''Gods of Egypt'' etc. His awards list might not be very long, however, his fan base is quite huge. ''Gods of Egypt'' was released on Feb. 26, 2016 in the US and a day before in Australia. It has collected $73.1 million so far (as per boxoffice mojo) in the box offices.

In the personal front, the ''One More Kiss'' famed actor did not reveal anything about the plans of marrying girlfriend Morgan Brown. His upcoming movie ''The Headhunter's Calling'' is expected to be released sometime in 2016.

Kit Harington Confirms He Filmed New Game of Thrones Scenes, But Only As A Dead Body

We're hardly waiting for it, Game of Thrones. We all know Jon Snow will be back in some shape or form this season, and at this point we're ready for the show to just come back already and stop teasing us. Enough with the cagey interviews, the oh-look-everyone-is-dead promos, and all the other taunting we've had to put up with for the past year. Just give us our beautiful show and let us be shocked in peace! Kit Harington, the portrayer of the dead guy in question, is the one who's confusing us this time. Instead of just saying "you'll have to wait and see," or some other kind of spoiler-free stock answer about future plot points (like he gave last time he was asked), Harington is now just feeding us lies. In an interview with Time Out London that was supposed to be about the West End play he's in, Harington claimed he's done with Game of Thrones. "Look, I'm not in the show anymore. I'm definitely not in the new series,...
